what started as only an idea four years earlier,

became reality...

Ahoy!

Are you backpacking the West Coast Trail?

This site provides information related to Backpacking the West Coast Trail

 including background, history, packing tips,

and a complete log of one group's experience as they traveled along it's route.

While this website embelishes the tale of the trip somewhat, the West Coast Trail has been called "one of the most gruelling treks in North America" - perhaps to some controvery. Let me just say this: under a string of good, dry weather, the trail is certainly not more than a walk, but if mother nature sends rain and cooler temperatures, it can become much, much more work - perhaps even gruelling.

Also, if you enjoy this site (and appreciate all of the work I put into it), please take a look at my latest book - details are at the bottom of every page... a guy's got to earn a living ; >)
