Black Diamond Aspect Review

Coming Soon!

Why am I doing the Black Diamond Aspect Review?

I'm going to wrap a Black Diamond Aspect review into a project I'm currently doing that involves a review of the Dynafit TLT Radical bindings. The idea is to come up with a great ski mountaineering "quiver of one" pairing.

What is the Black Diamond Aspect Ski?

In BD's words:

"A wide-bodied, superlight touring ski, the Black Diamond Aspect might be the ultimate one-ski backcountry quiver. A wide, floaty tip and mid-fat 90 mm waist give this high-performance tourer-and turner-the girth to tackle soft or variable snow, plus an aggressive sidecut for quick, slicing turns on hardpack. Designed for everything from the occasional in-bounds foray to long-distance backcountry projects, the Aspect opens the door to new levels of speed, efficiency and skiing performance."

Black Diamond Aspect Features

The Black Diamond Aspect is a light-weight ski at 1.34kg, with dimensions of 128-90-115 for a 166cm length.

I'm excited to get started on the Black Diamond Aspect review and my quest for the best "quiver of one" setup! Stay tuned!
